Invitation to Shoreline Restoration Project Planting Day: June 15th

This year the second grade will be participating in UCF's Shoreline Restoration Project!  I would like you and your family to come out to the Indian River Lagoon to see what it is all about!  Families can come help lay oyster mats, plant mangrove seedlings, and spartina grass to help create a natural seawall to prevent erosion.  Some of our 3rd and 4th grade families who participated in the project last school year will be there too.  Hope to see you there!  Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can give UCF an approximate number of participants to expect from Galileo.  Feel free to email me if you have any questions.  :-)
